Day 01: Delhi Arrival – Pickup – Overnight in Delhi

Upon your arrival in Delhi, a representative from Joyful Holidays will warmly welcome you and assist in your transfer to the pre-booked hotel. After a brief introduction to your tour, you’ll have the day at leisure to recover from travel. If time permits and you wish to explore, you may visit the serene Akshardham Temple for a spiritual start to your journey. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi – Nainital (Drive 300 Kms / 7–8 Hours)

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Nainital – the City of Lakes. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk along Mall Road or indulge in local street food and shopping. You may also choose to take a quiet boat ride on Naini Lake as the sun dips behind the hills. Overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 03: Nainital Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your guided exploration of Nainital. Visit the sacred Naina Devi Temple and enjoy panoramic views from Snow View Point and Tiffin Top. Later, head to the High Altitude Zoo to meet Himalayan wildlife such as the snow leopard and Tibetan wolf. The day ends with leisure time by the lakeside or a cable car ride for a bird’s eye view of the town. Overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 04: Nainital – Bhimtal – Sattal – Back to Nainital

Today’s day trip takes you to the nearby lake towns of Bhimtal and Sattal. Start with Bhimtal, where you’ll visit the majestic Bhimeshwar Temple beside the lake and enjoy a boat ride to the island aquarium. Proceed to Sattal, a peaceful cluster of seven interconnected lakes surrounded by pine and oak forests. Ideal for birdwatchers and nature lovers, Sattal offers unspoiled serenity. After a day surrounded by nature, return to Nainital for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Nainital – Deoria Tal (Drive 220 Kms / 6–7 Hours)

After breakfast, journey to Deoria Tal, a lesser-known gem perched at an altitude of about 2,400 meters. On arrival at the base village (Sari), enjoy a short trek (approx. 2 km) through rhododendron and oak forest to reach the crystal-clear Deoria Tal. Known for its mirror-like reflection of Chaukhamba Peaks, this lake is perfect for photography and quiet contemplation. Overnight stay in eco-camps near Deoria Tal or back in Sari village.

Day 06: Deoria Tal – Delhi Departure

Enjoy the morning amidst Himalayan beauty and fresh mountain air. After breakfast, begin your return drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at the airport or your hotel. This marks the end of your memorable lake and mountain journey with Joyful Holidays.
